Trying to use LD4

When I try to access the program am getting an error message FSUIPC error #21 Error sending message to FSIUPC
is the system not working? tjanks for any info

Hi David I’m Ismael Cancel or maybe you know me as Live Dispatch 4. I just want to let you know that im sorry about the delay to help you with your issue with the FSUIPC. I’m looking right now for a good option or dll for you. For this moment just write about your problem at the Bugs and Issues forum and try to look for help right there. Try to contact this guy Freddy Fages LDP-10 because long time ago he was having the same problem as you have right now and I personally send him the FSUIPC and all his problems was solved. I really don’t find the module in my documentation right now but is my promise to you that when I find’it I make contact with as fast I can. If your using Vista try dissabling UAC here is a link on how to turn it off. then try loading LD4 http://www.petri.co.il/disable_uac_in_windows_vista.htm

Probably also works for Win7 not sure if it also has UAC but if it does dissable it in security centre.

get a response that that link is ' dangerous' and decided not to try it..am back to square one ..still have the FSUIPC error message..

Uninstall your current FSUIPC. Make sure you delete any FSUIPC files from the modules folder of your FS installation. Then go to http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html and download the latest version of FSUIPC for your version of FS. When installing FSUIPC, make sure you run it AS ADMINISTRATOR if you are on Vista/Windows 7.

If this doesn't work, uninstall LD4 and reinstall but making sure you run the installer AS ADMINISTRATOR. This can be done by right clicking on the file and selecting RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.

Looks like I am almost there...no error messages and program started..however the messaging serveris
offline at this time. Does this mean I will be unable to get a flight generated and also be unable to file a PIREP?

No Eddie, you ARE there! lol

"Messaging Server Currently Offline" means that pilots will not be able to chat with each other via LD4. You may use the rest of the program without any problems.
